BCBSM grant application process for free clinics has begun

Again this year, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) is offering grants to free clinics across the state as part of its commitment to lead Michigan to a healthier future.
The 2010-2011 free clinic grant program aims to strengthen and stabilize Michigan’s health care safety net and expand crucial services for uninsured and underinsured residents.
Details and forms regarding the Strengthening the Safety Net grant program are available now at www.bcbsm.com/safetynet. Clinics interested in applying for a grant must submit a Notice of Intent to Apply form by midnight on May 28, 2010, to be eligible. The grant application is due no later than June 21, 2010.
